Natalie Portman won Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama.

Fabric Moment; Leather

Leather is essentially one of the oldest industries known to mankind. Our earliest ancestors used skins to protect their body, hands and feet. Of course today it is a rare occasion that you see someone sporting a loin cloth, however leather was big news on the A/W '09 catwalks, taking shape in leggings, skirts, jackets and much more.

It seems nowadays we are no longer restricted to the 'Hells Angels' style fashioned by Debbie Harry, The Sex Pistols and several thousand sweaty men on the backs of their 'Harley Davidsons'. The young stars of today: Daisy Lowe, the Olsen twins and Agyness Deyn can all be seen rocking the post-punk style of the 80's. There is no doubt that a leather jacket is an essential in the wardrobe of the fashion conscious, but this season saw YSL, Louis Vuitton and Prada giving leather a more lady-like cut. Leather has officially evolved.

Leather has the ability to give an outfit a tough edge, a polish that no other fabric can. Whether you are channeling goth, grunge, punk or even fetish- you can do it with leather.

Just watched Transformers: Revenge of the fallen? Wondering where you have seen "Alice" the girl/robot who stalks Sam while he is away at college before?

Well I am here to answer that question...

It's Home + Away, the Australian series, based around the area of Summer Bay. She played a character called Tasha Andrews, and she left in 2006.(Isabel Lucas as her character in Home And Away on her wedding day.)

Last summer Isabel Lucas was said to enjoy relationships of sorts with both Adrien Grenier and Shia LaBeouf, but now it looks like Jared Leto is her Hollywood man of choice. She's certainly moving up in the world from her 'Home and Away' days.

I've recently noticed how nicely this young celebrity dresses. She wears clothes that are age appropriate and stylish. Whether dressed up or down, she always looks lovely, hair and makeup are also beautiful. Well done her.
