Vampire Love....

Has anybody noticed the influx of Vampire related stuff? Is it Twilight's fault? I think so...I mean they do have a very appealing cast. Many fashion houses have taken this new infatuation and used it in their adverts, check these out for size..

A little Princess..

I watched "A Little Princess" a few weeks ago with one of my very good friends. I fell in love with it all over again, it's so pretty. I want to be Sara Crewe, I do, I do!! The clothes are beautiful and the story line sweeter than pie. A few snaps from it to rekindle your love of the classic movie....

I particularly love the last image.

(I stole these images from another blog, Unicorn diaries, a beautiful blog filled with prettyness, I hope she doesn't mind.)

Did someone say garden party?

Yay, it's officially summer! And the invites at this time of the year just flood in, whether it's an evening drinks party or a Sunday barbecue. If you are having trouble thinking of what to wear, I'm here to supply you with a few ideas. Here's an outfit for a garden party, but it could also see you through to a drinks party.

Suit up boys, it's all the rage.

That's right, now is the time to don those three pieces and get your tailored shirts ready to wear. I can't see a problem with this new male fashion, in fact I very much like to see young gentlemen in suits. Who can we thank for this? I would say the wardrobe staff of Gossip girl, Nate (the beautiful one) and Chuck (the bad boy) look great on and off the screen suited and booted. Lets not forget Hollwoods young stars including Zac Efron and Robert Pattison. The king of suits however is awarded to our very own Daniel Craig, wether on the red carpet or playing a character he does nto fail to impress.

Was this post a bit of an excuse to have some eye-candy on my blog...maybe! But Can you blame me!?

Dancing in the rain..How to cope with the british summer!

Be sensible kids, the calenders may suggest it is summer but let's face it..this is Britain- rain is inevitable. How to prepare:
@ Bring an over-sized bag, so you can chuck your jacket in when the sun comes out.
@ For god's sake bring a waterproof!
@ A spare pair of shoes...nothing worse/more dangerous than wearing wet heels.
@ Turn up jeans, the perfect cover up for avoiding the puddles!
@ Do wear a nice summery top, it's still warm out there, just occasionally rainy. I hate wearing non summery clothes at this time of the year even if it doesn't feel like summer!
@ If rain definitely isn't on the cards, chuck a pretty cardie in your bag for when the sun goes in
Happy shopping!!

Look of the week....

Photo from Stylesightings.com, a brilliant website for fashion inspiration.
But can this look be recreated? I'm sure going to try for you!
We are going to ignore the fact she has pointy shoes on (let's burn all of them shall we?) I went for some more chunky numbers.

After Hours...

To continue the 'Summer Ball' posts, here's the next dilemma , what to wear to the after party! We know it's inevitable, so you may as well be prepared for it.

My first tip, save your feet, go for flats or super comfy heels, there's nothing worse than taking sore feet out of one pair of heels and putting them into another! Also, bring layers, who knows where you'll end up and ans what hour. Finally...bring makeup, plasters, a bottle of water, sunglasses and facewipes. These five things will insure you wont have to leave with a paper bag over your head!

Here's outfit option numero uno....

It truly is a Midsummer Nights Dream Dress...

I stumbled across a charming a website whilst surfing for online shops, having found the name of the site rather adorable I thought it was worth a look. Sundaybrunchdress.com is full of very pretty dresses, some wow factor some more subdued. It truly is a find. Some of the dresses are quite pricey and sadly the company is based in America so does not delver to the UK. But check out this dress, its perfectly named "Midsummer Nights Dream Dress." Described on the website-
"This is the stuff of fairy tales. The silk on this dress is, in short, incredible; not the shiny silk that we have come to expect. From the empire waist, the skirt flows and flows and flows. The one shoulder “strap” is twisted silk, made to look like vines climbing a tree. The print is the designer’s own, a young girl’s vivid imaginings of frogs and forrest floor creatures. Call us fairies, but we prefer the term forrest nymph."

Darling webiste, devine dresses....almost delectable.
